IRCC member Arts for Learning and 1000 Words Gallery invite you to Artists Building Community: How Creativity Connects Schools to the World, a free open-house gallery opening on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This exhibit celebrates three years of Arts for Learning’s signature Artists Building Community Fellowship, an artist-in-residency initiative rooted in school communities. Student and teaching artist work in visual art, dance, and music will be displayed side by side, showcasing what students at Purdue Polytechnic, Match High School, IPS CFI #84, Herron Preparatory Academy, William Penn Middle School, Edison School for the Arts, and Step Ahead have been creating together. The real work starts in January, but behind the scenes, things are already hopping!
